wait wait wait WHAT?! So am I just misunderstanding this or is this not getting massive attention from pharmaceutical companies because they can’t make money from it because it’s so simple?? I have to be misreading that.. because that’s just horrible.

This was written about in 2007. Google the name of the drug and you’ll find it’s in Phase 3 clinical trials, and its recently been discovered that it causes SOME types of tumors to grow rapidly instead of shrink, so now they have to figure out which cancers it helps and which it complicates.
